Settings → Testing presets
Your standard QA tests. Define them once; they become the test-name dropdown on products, prefilling the prescription and responsibility label.
Where: setlist → Settings → Testing presets Feeds: the per-variant test-name dropdown in a product's Tests section
What you set here
Each preset has:
- Name — the test (e.g. "Tarnish / patina test")
- Owner — the responsible team label (or "Unassigned"), chosen from your Teams. This is stored as editable text on each QA test — a responsibility label, not the product's person Owner. A preset keeps its label even if you later rename or delete that team — the old value stays selectable on the preset.
- Prescription — what the tester should do and record
Set it up
- Add a testing preset: enter a Name, pick an Owner, write the Prescription, click Add testing preset.
- Edits autosave; the trash icon removes.
- On a product, Add test → pick a preset, and its prescription + owner prefill (still editable).
Good to know
- With no presets defined, the product's test name is a free-text field instead of a dropdown.
- These are internal QA tests — different from the sample-to-people User testing feature.
