Settings → Product lines
The lines products can belong to (Core, Limited Time…). Each line carries a behavior that drives a conditional field on the product.
Where: setlist → Settings → Product lines Feeds: the product Product line dropdown, the conditional availability field it drives, and the Product line column/filter on the Products list
What you set here
Each product line is a name + a behavior:
| Behavior | Effect on the product |
|---|---|
| None (no extra field) | Nothing extra |
| Limited quantity (units cap) | Adds a Quantity number field — the units cap |
| Limited date (end date) | Adds an End date field, defaulting to the assigned launch's end date |
- Add a product line: enter a Name (e.g. "Core"), pick a Behavior, click Add product line.
- Name and behavior autosave; the trash icon removes.
Set it up
- Add the lines you sell under (e.g. Core = None, Limited Time = Limited date, Limited Quantity = Limited quantity).
- On a product, pick its Product line — the matching field (Quantity or End date) appears automatically.
Good to know
- The product form shows the chosen line's Behavior as read-only — it's controlled here.
- For limited-date products, the End date prefills from the assigned launch but stays override-able.
- Product line is independent of Category and Sub-category. A product has both: the category says what it is (and builds its SKU), the line says how it's sold. Any line can pair with any category.
- A line whose behavior you change later starts driving the new field on every product using it — the behavior lives on the line, not on the product.
