Launches
A launch is a named drop with a date range (e.g. "Fall 2026"). Assign products to a launch to plan everything shipping together, seed their schedule, and see the drop's readiness in one place.
Where:
- setlist → Launches — launch cards and detail pages
- setlist → Settings → Launches — where launches are first created (details)
- setlist → Products — assign one or many products to a launch
What a launch is
A launch has a name, a start date, an optional end date, a card cover, optional internal reference images, and a set of assigned products. A product can belong to one launch at a time.
Assigning a product to a launch also:
- seeds and locks its launch date to the launch's start;
- defaults its end date to the launch's end for limited-date products;
- scales forecast targets when a product type uses a per-week or per-month target.
The Launches page
Launches appear as a responsive card grid: two columns on wider screens and one column in narrow views. Each card shows:
- the launch's cover image, or its first internal identifying image as a fallback;
- name and date range;
- a derived Upcoming, Active, or Ended badge based on its dates;
- product count and average
~N% readyrollup.
Products without a valid launch appear in an Unassigned card at the end, so nothing is hidden. Open that card to see the products that still need placement.
The launch detail page
Open any launch card to manage the drop.
Details
The summary shows timing and dates. Click Edit to change the name or date range; fields autosave. Click Done to return to the summary.
Products
The Products section shows the launch's product count, aggregate readiness, and a table with Product · Stage · Owner · Ready · Launch · End.
- Add products opens a searchable multi-select picker. Assigning a product here moves it from its previous launch, because a product has one launch slot.
- Remove a row to unassign that product without deleting it.
- You can also assign many products from the Products page: enter Edit, select rows, choose Add to… → Launch, and assign.
Images
- Cover image is the single image shown on the launch card.
- Identifying images are internal reference thumbnails for the team.
Images must be under 10 MB. Removing or replacing one deletes the old stored file.
Danger zone
Delete launch removes the launch immediately. Products are not deleted; they fall into Unassigned.
Set it up: step by step
- Go to Settings → Launches, enter a name and date range, and click Add launch.
- Open the launch card from Launches.
- Add a cover and any internal identifying images.
- Add products from the launch detail, or bulk-assign them from Products → Edit.
- Use the card and detail page to watch product readiness across the drop.
Tips & gotchas
- Launches are created in Settings, then managed from their detail page.
- One product, one launch. Assigning it elsewhere moves it; campaign membership is separate and can be many-to-many.
- Unassigned is the safety net. It includes products with no launch and products whose launch was deleted.
- Dates drive timing automatically. Upcoming / Active / Ended is derived from the date range; there is no manual launch-status field.
